FoodWhim is for the dinner that still happens after you get home late. Emma Collins times recipes on a home stove, in one pan, and keeps them under about 35 minutes.
Yes. Every recipe on FoodWhim is free to read. There is no account, paywall, or subscription. The site is funded by Google AdSense.
That is the filter. If a dish needs a specialty sauce or a second store trip, it usually does not get published. When a step can be skipped on a Tuesday, the recipe says so.
Use search and the filters for total time, main ingredient, or meal. Start with what is already in the fridge, not with a cuisine you have to shop for.
The heart on a recipe saves it on this device only. No sign-in. If you clear the browser, the list is gone.
It keeps the screen on so you are not unlocking the phone with wet hands. You can also print the recipe; the header and extra widgets stay off the page.
Emma Collins is the original recipe author of FoodWhim. The weeknight dinners here are recipes she wrote. The About page is the longer version.
